Real Madrid and Granda clash at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in what could develop into a one-sided La Liga contest on Saturday, December 2.
Title favourites and current leaders Real Madrid will expect to record a comfortable win when they take on relegation candidates Granada in the Spanish capital.
Real Madrid vs Granada Preview
Real Madrid reclaimed top spot in La Liga last weekend when they cruised to a 3-0 victory at Cadiz and another win against one of the division’s weakest sides looks possible when Los Blancos host Granada.
Carlo Ancelotti’s Madrid have yet to lose at home in La Liga this season and the title favourites have collected 16 of the 18 points on offer at the Bernabéu since August.
Real have been averaging 2.50 goals per 90 minutes on home soil and second-from-bottom Granada could struggle to cope with their host’s ferocious attacking power.
Madrid have also been performing solidly at the back and the title chasers, who hold La Liga’s best defensive record, have conceded just three goals in six home games combined in the league this season.
Granda meanwhile, have struggled since their promotion from the second tier, failing to win 13 of their first 14 La Liga matches and losing six of their first seven tests on the road.
The toothless Nazaríes also failed to score in three of their last five away assignments while only rock-bottom Almeria (37) have shipped more goals overall than Granada (33).
Real Madrid have yet to play a team from La Liga’s bottom six at home this season, though they have won three matches out of three against the league’s relegation candidates on their travels, conceding just once along the way (3-1 vs Almeria, 1-0 vs Celta Vigo and 3-0 vs Cadiz).
The table-topping Merengues will expect to outclass another inferior opponent in the Spanish capital on Saturday and a comfortable Real Madrid victory over Granada is anticipated.

Real Madrid vs Granada Predictions
Real Madrid should be in command from the first whistle against Granada on Saturday evening and backing the hosts to hold an advantage at half time could be an option to consider.
Madrid led at the break in three of their last four league fixtures at home while Granada trailed at the interval in each of their last four La Liga matches on the road.
Elsewhere, a stake on Real Madrid to win to nil this weekend could also pay dividends. The league leaders have already beaten six different teams without conceding this season and they were able to keep three of the last four visitors to the Bernabéu off the scoresheet in La Liga.
The only goal Granada scored in their last three away games came from the penalty spot at Alaves and they could find it difficult to create chances against a Real side that conceded just five shots on target in their last three home league matches combined.
